The Peoples March for Europe

What a fabulous past few weeks it’s been flying the flags!* From EU boat parties, street stalls, protests outside parliament and now the marches... It’s been a whirlwind. The Peoples March 4EU kicked of the Autumn of Discontent in spectacular fashion! The March attracted over 50K people and was an uplifting day. Photos are in gallery. I lost my local group (Lewisham East) but made lots of new friends along the way! So good to meet so many of you wearing Word Up Designs, in a sea of blue, yellow and white. The speeches at Parliament Square were inspirational and the No.10 Vigil put on a great show as usual on Richmond Terrace. All in all a successful event. Well done to all those involved. The day was finished off by handing out free EU flags outside the Royal Albert Hall which has had lots of press coverage and made The Proms a glow of colour. See yours truly here in The New European. Was also featured in French and Dutch newspapers and even The Daily Express! I'm buzzing with lots of ideas after spending time with so many switched on people and listening, so please watch this space! Remain, it makes sense. Together, let's #StopBrexit. There are so many more rallies and marches planned for the Autumn of Discontent. Next stop, Brighton, Sunday 24th September the Manchester, 1st October. See you there! #wordupdesign #StopBrexit #No10Vigil #SODEM #StopBrexitMarch #PeoplesMarch #DorsetforEurope RE: flags!* It’s important we fly all the flags, not just the EU one. We are not unpatriotic, we love our country, that is why we are fighting for it!
